China. Qing Dynasty. Provincial Issues. Sinkiang Province. Zhungar Tribes / Jungarian khanate. Galdan Cheren (1697-1727 AD)

The Dzungars (also spelled Zhungars) were a powerful Oirat Mongol confederation that controlled Dzungaria (modern-day Xinjiang, western Mongolia, and parts of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) during the 17th and 18th centuries. They were in constant conflict with the Qing Dynasty and other Central Asian powers.

Tsewang Rabdan (Cewan Rabdan) (1697–1727) was one of the most notable Dzungar khans. He led the Dzungar Khanate during its peak, maintaining control over parts of Xinjiang, Tibet, and Central Asia, while also waging wars against the Qing and Kazakhs. His reign saw economic expansion, military campaigns, and coinage issued under his authority
