Bactrian Greeks. Euthydemos I (230-200 BC)
Euthydemos I was one of the most significant rulers of the Greco-Bactrian Kingdom. He overthrew the Diodotid dynasty and established his own rule, resisting a Seleucid invasion by Antiochus III and maintaining Greek control over Bactria and Sogdiana. His coinage, including AE (bronze) units, reflects the fusion of Hellenistic and Central Asian influences
