Based on the standard drachm of the Sasanian king Khusro I (531 – 579AD), but with bull’s head above the king’s crown
Minted in Balkh, Northern Afghanistan
OBVERSE: Bust with winged bull’s head crown and ring above the forehead. Corrupted Pehlevi inscription
REVERSE: Fire altar with two attendants. Corrupted Pehlevi legend
