Fiknan (sometimes written Piknan, Pikkan, or Fikkan) was a local principality (small city-state) in Sogdiana — the region that covered parts of present-day Uzbekistan and Tajikistan — active mainly during the 7th–8th centuries AD

It was one of the lesser Sogdian domains, alongside more famous ones such as Samarkand, Panjikent, and Bukhara. Each of these polities had its own ruler and minting authority
