REVERSE: Tamgha (S 78), a variant of the Alkhan Tamgha (S 1) with broad ribbons
Tamgha S 78 is an amplified version of the Alkhan Tamgha (S 1) with ribbons emerging from its “legs.”‘ It also occurs on a copper coin named Type 132A with Khingila legend. On Sasanian copper coins a symbol similar to Tamgha S 78 is found on the reverses of copper coins minted in Marw both by Wahram IV (r. 388-399AD) and Yazdgerd I (399-420AD)
